"The view from our room was breathtaking, we arrived late at night, and knew we had booked a room with a sea view. When we looked out of our window the next morning, we could not only see the sea, we could see for miles, the gulls were in the sky, the dolphins surfaced in the bay".

Perched overlooking the beautiful Cardigan bay, the Black Lion Hotel is a jewel in the crown of New Quay and West Wales. Family run, the management duties are shared between Martin, Helen & Caitlin.

I love the hotel, and we have spent as much on making it a nicer place to stay, as we did on buying it a couple of years ago. It really is a home from home though short break holiday, full weeks or simply to stop by and have a meal or a drink in the bar
